Position: Regional Sales Manager – Dealer Sales (Bilingual)
Sector/Unit:   CDA Dealer Sales                            
Reports To: Director of Dealer Sales
Location: Canada: Quebec


Position/Job Description: 

The Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Canada will be responsible for reaching sales goals of designated products, and dealer performance within the specified regions. The role will focus on developing and maintaining strong Dealer relationships, while overseeing the Territory Sales Managers in reaching and surpassing sales targets and expectations.
 
Key Requirements:
*Must have previous supervisory experience leading a team (5-7 years)
 *Must have strong understanding and capability to create forecasts, reports, deal with inventory reporting, being held accountable for creation of strategies for growth.
*Proven track record of leading teams with consistent growth and hitting of targets year over year
 *Experience presenting market data and sales data to senior management while attending meetings (power-point, excel, report writing and data manipulation)
 *Substantial travel requirement to visit dealers throughout region on regular basis, to work with TSM's, and to attend required meetings with corporate office
 

Essential Duties:
 
  • Implement tactical and well as strategic initiatives to maintain and grow our brand position in the marketplace
  • Coach and lead the Territory reps to assist in the achievement of overall sales goals as outlined by Corporate strategy
  • Manage the performance of the territory reps on an on-going basis to ensure targets are being met and strategy is communicated throughout the teams
  • Ensure corporate requirements are completed- CRM, Forecasting with Director Dealer Sales, working with Marketing etc.
  • Visit dealers on a regular basis and take care of all issues to ensure good business relations
  • Respond effectively to dealer inquiries regarding various aspects of our products
  • Assist with key open houses, field days and industry events, as needed
  • Assesses competitive activities and strategies

Qualifications:
 
  • < >- Bilingual (French/English) both written and verbalBachelor or college degree preferred; with minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, and strong technical knowledge of company products.
  • Proven track records in sales, preferably in a dealer network environment
  • Previous Experience Supervising a team of Territory Managers
  • Experience in a related field
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Self-motivated, driven, available for a substantial amount of travelling on a weekly basis
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent customer service and coaching skills while managing a team of Territory Managers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • People oriented, friendly manner
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, Word, Excel, CRM
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities 
  • Proven track record of advisor growth and increased sales
  • Capable of working independently and able to travel extensively to support dealer relations, prospect new clients and attend industry specific trade shows.
 
Desired
  • Previous dealer relationships and knowledge of the Eastern Canada Market preferred (QUE and East).
  • Previous manufacturer relationships an added bonus
  • Direct product knowledge
  • An understanding of finance, and a strong understanding regarding the products and services associated with inventory and accounts receivable finance
